A post appeared in my Facebook feed this morning, from two people I admire greatly.
The post was from Brene Brown, famous for her research on shame and vulnerability. One of her TED talks, on vulnerability, has been viewed 57 million times.
And she was interviewing Father Richard Rohr in a two-part podcast.
Brene introduces the podcast as follows: ” Anyone who knows me or my work knows the immeasurable influence Father Richard Rohr has had on my life. Rohr is a Franciscan friar and ecumenical teacher, and his words live on Post-it notes all around my house; his numerous books are tattered and torn, as I’ve returned to them time and again, especially in the past couple years.”
Here’s a link to the first episode:
I listened to the podcast, then later, found it was available as a transcript (on the same link), which I found even more powerful as I could re-read at my leisure. Powerful stuff. Some BIG ideas in just a casual conversation.
